Finally,
I got YDL 6.0 up and running on my PS3 40g. No hiccups or surprises. Just make sure plug your USB keyboard in beginning of install... it was stalling for while and YDL waited until any input device was found in PS3 unit (yup, don't expect to work out of box with your bluetooth keyboard and mouse). I bought Logitech Bluetooth Cordless Mediaboard Pro, it synced well with ps3 but like I said it won't work right away with YDL. There are couple step you have to follow to get any Bluetooth device up and running on YDL. 1. run : yum install bluez* this will install necessary component 2. Reboot 3. then run : hcitool to scan any bluetooth device (mine detected iBook and my iMac as well) 4. get the mac address of the device you want to register. 5. run : hidd --connect [mac address] to register each device. Some people are reporting that you need to add hidd -connect [address] to rc.local. This will allow your YDL to remember bluetooth device after reboot... but personally it work well even after reboot with out modding rc.local file. Next Stop snes and mame.... I'll let you know what happen. kimish |

Awesome! I am waiting for the YDL DVD ISO to finish downloading right now and I will begin the process of loading it on my PS3 80g system. I will be running the Logitech Bluetooth Cordless Mediaboard Pro as well.
If you find any nice, easy guides for installing an NES, SNES, MAME emus, let me know. Cheers, Brodin |

That was exactly the information I needed to get my diNovo mini working with YDL 6.0, including the touchpad control of the mouse. The PS3 remembered the device after reboot without further edits. There were only two pieces of info missing for me. The first was that I had to execute all the commands as root to make them work. The second was specific to the mini -- I had to drain the memory capacitors on the mini before doing the scan, and then I had to press the BT connect button in the battery compartment of the mini while the scan was in progress in order for hcitool to find the mini, and again during the hidd connect command. Thank you for your contribution!

Was able to get my bluetoth keyboard (Microsoft Version) up and runnign using the Blue Z* options mentioned below. Only drama is that now I have no Bluetooth connectivity for the remote control that came as standard!! Anyone have any idea how I can get it working when I switch over the the Game OS>? The keyboard works fine on the game OS too, but just wondering if it's a case of one or the other?
