One little detail for us noobs.
run the command :
yum list
once you follow the guide in yum.conf.info found in the download section:
UPDATED yum.conf & repos files
Reason: for me atleast i could not search/install before i did a list. I think the list command cache the files available in the links you have in the yum.conf.
Thanks for the guide. I think i was damn lucky today. I followed the guide but the yum.conf was outdated so i was just about to write a post asking what to do when the site updated with this new download

must be my lucky day hehe
Another detail is that the found yumx is actually version 1.0.2 and not 1.0.3!
Perhaps you guys could add a few more locations? I found this place really usefull:

Can i just install the rpm from here? (we are using ppc right? there is a x86 also)
