Quite Sudden Internet Problems on YDL5.0

I just got ydl 5.0 installed on my ps3 and yes I am quite new to the linux system and can't wait to learn about it.
I was just on the internet cruising around and then I guess all I did was accidently disconnect the ethernet cable while moving the ps3 console. Now, the internet won't work i've tried restarting the server computer, restarting network hub and restarting the ps3. None of that worked. Any help would be great

go to the network app in your desktop manager. if you are running e17 or gnome or kde, you got to find your network app and then try restart or enable eth0

Turned out the ethernet cable was only losely connected to my pc and disconnected when the dog ran under the desk. Thanks anyway.
