install ydl 6 over 5 - PS3Hax

What is the best way to install ydl 6 over an exiting ydl 5?
Can I do an upgrade?
Or: reformatting the disk and start allover?

reformat and start over is the only realistic way, back up your game saves and pics, files etc onto usb drive before and start fresh with a reformat for Other OS in XMB

Hello H.axen,

I backed up the PS3 game stuff
reformatted the PS3 with 10 GB for other OS
I restored the PS3 game stuff
from the ydl 6 picked up latest otheros
installed this otheros in PS3
From PS3 game going to otheros
installed ydl 6 from dvd
changed resolution to 1080P & full screen (changed 3 to 133), now done in yuboot.conf
To do tomorrow: try the vlc install again...
