RPM install in YDL 5

Hello,
How can I install a RPM in YDL 5?
I have all the required VLC rpms (dependancies) and want to install them one by one.
Then I want to install the VLC RPM...

rpm OK but

So, I installed all the rpms with:
rpm -vhs -rpm name-
Then the rpm -vhs -rpm vlc-

Again I get 13 !!! missing dependencies...

I did a yum update
I can use yumex

Installing VLC is a bitch!
