Finally got my PS3 and installed YDL 5.0, just have a few questions.
Hey guys-
I finally got my PS3, they had 7 in stock at circuit city. It's the 60 gig version. I also have a 320gig SATA external hard drive I'm using to store all of my media files. I have 25 movies, half are in .iso and the other half are .avi. I also have 12,000 songs that are on it as well.
The install of YDL was a breeze and didn't take long at all. I've been researching a lot on the internet about install programs on Linx and whatnot and have came up with a few questions so I guess I'll list em off.
1) I have the external hard drive on and connected to the PS3 via USB. How do I know Linux detects that it's there and how do I view the files?
2) Are their any step by step instructions on how to install VLC and DVD dectryper? I've found some tutortials, but they don't go very in depth for people that aren't 100% familier with Linux.
Thanks ahead of time for your responses!
