PLease Help me

I know there is a lot of stuff about Linux on the site, but I don't really understand it all, plus my computer sucks. Right now im on the school computer, and I have a flash drive, DVD Rs and Linux 5.0 ISO file. What do i do now?? Do I have the right kind of disc? My computer doesn't read it, and im really angry because i bought all this stuff, and waited for 3 hours and it's not working. Some help please?

what application are you using to burn the image to DVD?

im using NERO, im pretty new to programming & stuff so i don't understand a lot.And I have a SD TV

To burn the ISO image you should just have to click on File -> Burn Image..or something like that(google " nero iso").
Often times, merely burning data(rather than specifically selecting burn ISO/IMAGE) doesn't work.

Thanks, and my computer says the disc is unwrittable,what kind of discs should I have? I have a broken keyboard so typing this sucks.

Oh yeah, my PS3 doesn't even acknowledge the disc is there when it's in.

Do you know what type of DVD burner you are using?

The trial version, i don't know. I have HP DVD Rs, and I downloaded the file off their site and its about 3.5 gigs or something like that.

but...do you have a dvd burner? (what kind - brand and is it rw+ or rw- or rw+/-)
