for those who doesn't have the enhanced membership, you can remove the usernameasword and change "enhanced" to "pub"
Meanwhile i can upload a torrent for the iso file if anyone helps me with the trackers?
And i have one more question, does anyone know if it is ok if use fedora 6 rpms?
I have read over on the YDL boards that there is still some uncertainty between whether FC6 or FC7 is a better match for YDL v6.0.
I have updated my drrible repo to point back to the FC6 rpms, as there were some incompatible packages, and have had success with the installations from it.
There are also many FC7 packages that will work well in YDL v6.0 (such as the emulator mednafen) so it's a bit trial and error atm.
I typically get an error during install if the package is not going to work correctly on top of it's FC6 counterparts. Good Luck!

sweet......now I can install java and XFCE. I put XFCE 4 on my linux PC to get familiar with it and I am loving it. So I am gonna go ahead and try it out on the PS3 Linux.
Well, that was fun.........got up and running with a lot of stuff working. I haven't tested everything(video still to come), but am making good headway. XFCE was a bit of a pain - mainly due to having to continuously Ctrl+Alt+Backspace - to test the config. But I got it going and can help out anyone who wants. I switched the ps3-video-mode to 1080i as 720p just wasn't enough screen(even though text is a bit fainter than usual), I'm still having an issue with a couple packages and the package updater(dependency issues), but I should be able to sort it out soon. Anywho, its late and I've been up far too long already(not sure whether to have another Dew and keep going or go to sleep) I'll update later.
[EDIT]
mplayer is installed and working(kind of).....I was able to download and install the latest cvs as mentioned in the mplayer tutorial on this site:
Quote:
svn checkout svn://svn.mplayerhq.hu/mplayer/trunk mplayer
cd mplayer
./configure --enable-gui --enable-largefiles --enable-menu
--enable-dynamic-plugins && make && sudo make install
After linking to a font file and installing the codecs and gui's i decided to give it a shot.
tested: Muse - Knights of Cydonia quictime movie file(mov)
mplayer played the file without any issue, but gmplayer gave me some pop-up errors(although the same errors were displayed in the out from mplayer. Basically, I could launch/watch the video with mplayer just fine, but had to specify video out(-vo x11) for gmplayer; otherwise I would get sound and no video. I tried a few other video out options, but none worked(prperly), so far. Here is the output of both commands. For the sake of time I'm just going to Ctrl-C both commands and paste the output.

I guess I should have posted both command outputs the same(I posted gmplayer -vo x11 output instead), but I'm too tired to care right now. Its time for some sleep.
Please give me update about the mplayer when you're done.
Now i am updating with 6 repos, and i will try to install VLC.
Does it work on 7 repos?
I am sorry for too many questions, as you can understand linux is ver new to me..
Not a problem, mplayer and mplayer-gui installed fine for me (it uses the base and extras repos I believe).
I did install VLC from the FC7 dribble repo before reverting back to FC6, it also works fine.
@Coded-Dude, XFCE looks nice! How long did it take to install and configure? Do you see any performance increases from gnome? Perhaps I should try to tackle this over the weekend as well
XFCE is easy enough, if you know what packages to install. It was trial and error for me, but lucky for you I wrote down the significant packages that should ensure a successful install.
xfce4-session.ppc
Thunar.ppc
xfdesktop.ppc
Now I also installed several plugins, etc., but with the above three packages you should be able to launch the WM with little to no errors. Yum will grab all the necessary dependencies.
Errors/Issues received upon login:
pbbuttons does no end in .sh, ignoring - This was from .xsession-errors, and I merely appended .sh to the filename to correct it.
XFCE menu button was missing - Now this could have been because I didn't install everything before launching xfce, I'm not sure. I had to install xfdekstop and xfwm before it was even an option to add.
There was no DEFAULT xfce.desktop file to place in /usr/share/xsession to allow XFCE to be selectable via gdm, but the following will get it going for you.
