my boot other os button will not work. and using gnome i tried boot-game-os and said not found. then i tried to follow these instructions on making a shortcut but the shortcut is inactive and will not do anything. can anyone spin me in the right direction here im new to ydl and this forum.
hmmm i need some help i think, i tried to install Fedora Core in my ps3. I followed the guide from this site: [Please register to see this link. ]. I got stucked at the guide:
* Answer anaconda's questions
* Select your keyboard and language preference
* When it says it can't find your media
* Press "Select Driver", and scroll down to '''!PlayStation 3 (ps3_storage)'''
* When you get to the part about what packages to install, select only '''Software Development''' and '''Customize Later'''
when i selected the my driver as playstation 3 i gets a error saying that they can't find any driver in the ps3.
So i decided to go back to the xmb to try updating my ps3 and at the same time try to format the hard drive. but I don't know how to go back to the xmb. I have searched for the problem but couldn't find anything, anyone that can help me with this? i have tried to write:
"boot-game-os"
but nothing happens. Please help me T.T, with all regards
ok i figured this out. I had the same problem as described by 18. What you need to do is when you type in the command in the "create launcher" don't put "sudo boot-game-os" just put "boot-game-os" This worked for me. I did not ned he "sudo" command.
Since i'm a linux noob . And i saw when i clicked on applications > that i saw something there with boot-game-os , can't u right click it and copy it to ur desktop?
