Parts of my desktop are cut off! - PS3Hax

Hello guys I am running ydl 5 on my 25 inch SD tv and there are no icons for anything on the desktop ..this leads me to believe that the sides of the desktop are cut off! oh no!

how can I move the icons on the desktop too the middle without being able to see them?

try using ydl480i when you start up linux;

when you get the: "kboot:" part type in ydl480i that will set the video mode to 480i

i'm running in ydl480i and have s video cables running to my projector to my ps3....there are no desktop icons ....where are they and how do i put them on there.

I came across a similar problem on my 50" Grand wega, try messing with the zoom features of your projector. Mine were set to Wide, therefore cutting off the edge of the screen. Not sure if it will work for you but it can't hurt to try.
