Otheros.bld included in YDL 6. I don't think it works!

I downloaded and burned YDL 6 onto a DVD(3.7GB)
I checked all the files and had everything in place.
I know the bootloader is included as otheros.bld in the PS3/otheros directories.

After i put the disk in my PS3 I installed the bootloader it detected.
When I went to "Other OS" option and restarted my ps3 the screen just went blank. The bootloader did not start up.
Am I missing anything?

worked for me, then i also did the media check and found no errors
