Then I think you just bricked your ps3. sorry can't help with anything there. But I do have one mor question; are you using ocmposite, component, or HDMI to connect to your TV?
i got it fixed now. i used HDMI cabel. now when i did the step: turn off, press until beep. now it's working. but i lost allot of space on my harddrive. 26/37 formatet and all... but allways when i get to the select language and i select my language. after that he say's : no writable disk. then it reboots and the black screen of deth "i call it"

how long does it take cuz my screen went black cuz i think i might of pulled it out too soon so my question is is that when the screen is black is it still loading
no it's not loading at all. if u turn the back button off(have the ps3 on first) then turn it back to on. then hold the front button on ps3 for 10 sec 1beep. 2 beep. off. then start the ps3 with the component cable (fabric cable)

I think I know what's happening. Let me ask you something; did you format the HDD in the Game OS by going to settings-->system settings-->Format Utility? If you didn't that is why you are getting no writable disk because the installer is looking for a partition to install YDL. Be warned that if you use to format the utility you will loose all of data. Go to [Please register to see this link. ] and check out the install guides they have. They are under the support tab and tell you how to format your HDD.
