i'm new in PS3 but not in PSP, i recently bought my 80gb PS3 and just wondering to have a CFW on it like on my PSP running 3.90m33-3, is this possible?

Take some time to read the available info about this, and no there isn't any custom FW at this moment.

I got so happy when I read the threads name....
No there is no CFW.
And No there is no way to run an iso yet....
Please before you post a thread just search the forum for it...

Dark_Alex won't work on PS3 CFW until it is hacked. Looks like Sony took great precaution using an ancient (but highly optimised) architecture that no one uses anymore. They also have everything highly encypted.
