FireStarter, How are you liking linux so far? I've finally got it downloaded and burned, just debating on when to install.

Hey! Well, I haven't gotten to check it out too much yet, but so far it's pretty sweet! If you've used Fedora or Red Hat before, it'll be extremely familiar, since YDL is based on them. The Enlightenment interface is a fairly slick GNOME redesign, too!

If you're still thinking about it, I'd say, definitely go for it. I was impressed by how easy Sony makes it to install other OS', unlike the other consoles. And the awesome folks here can probably tell you even more about it than I can, haha!

hi, i have downloaded two isos YLD, but didn´t finish instalation.

have downloaded site official. but 2 isos problem

i was at the control sisten, i changed others. PS3/OS , the pinguins at the stage of kboot, I change for install a appeared all letters in quadrads

Help me please. I have PS3 with HDMI cable. LCDTV SamSung.

sorry dude, that is not a good iso burn. you need to burn an iso image, not copy the iso file to the dvd. also, your source iso may be corrupt. I would download it again and do you know what i mean about the difference between creating an iso image and copying the iso file to a dvd search for "dvd decrypter" here in the forum and follow those instructions. you can download dvd decrypter in the downloads section.

Problem resolved, i search otheros.bld in DVD YLD 6.0.

YLD 6.0 is cool ,, I am running YLD in my PS3!

silly noobie question here do you need different versions of other os bld and other os self depending on which version of linux distrubution your installing ie yellow dog gentoo and fedora?
