Load backup PS2 in PS3 - PS3Hax

Hi all

i`m kinda new in here , but i love this site ...
my question : is it possible to load backup Ps2 games in Ps3 , without modding ?
(i rather not open my ps3)

There is a memory adapter for PS2 card save games. Haven't tried it yet.

you cant as of yet but if the i load is real you will be able to run ps3 & ps1 backups

What is the difference between the Real discs and the backups? Is it not possible to burn as well the code that tells the ps3 that it is acceptible? I heard about that being possible. The guy who told me about it said it was called the "in-game emblem".

Just wondering if this had any thing to do with reality?

Also he said something about being able to load ps2 backups with gameshark of any version and that this information was "so old school". I felt like this dude was jsut trying to seem like he knew something.

[EDIT] Also does the psxloader used in conjunction with swap magic work?

From what I know all backup talk is useless on the ps3, even if they where to find a hole in the firmware all I can really see going on is MAYBE loading games from the hdd and that is once someone is able to make a homebrew package installer & assembler so you can recreate what sony is selling you on PSN. Hacking the firmware would not modify the blueray drive itself to read the burned titles (for example people mod the firmware of the 360's drive to enable it to play burned disk) you cannot from any source knowledge do that with the ps3 at the current moment.
