Australia - Retailers claim 360 is dead, Wii & PS3 going strong

A rather interesting survey (coming from ChannelNews and SmartHouse) lets loose with some damaging news. According to a majority of retailers, the 360 is in a death-spiral. The Wii and PS3 are doing very well, but 360 sales just keep sinking. According to one retailer… “Both the Sony PS3 and Nintendo Wii appeal to women and families and with Sony now winning the HD format war we can also sell the PS3 as a Blu ray player. This will allow us to also sell Blu ray content”. Another retailer went

i have noticed this too... but I think its because 360 has released all of their exclusives and now its ps3 and wiis turn to dominate the market

Well i live in Australia and the 360 seems to be doing great. IMO the ps3 is the one not doing so great. As for the Wii that is very popular over here as well. Alot of casual gamers have jumped on it. And all this blu ray format war crap. Sony may have won but most people other then tech heads and hardcore gamers would know about blu ray or not even interested in it.
