PSM3 insider: in-game XMB not coming soon, PS3 to get other good stuff
Interesting rumors have surfaced on the [Please register to see this link. ] PlayStation 3 Magazine ([Please register to see this link. ]), ranging from an intriguing sequel to a [Please register to see this link. ] Xbox 360 title making its way to the [Please register to see this link. ] PS3 to the disheartening delay of the widely anticipated in-game XMB feature.
According to PSM3's supposed insider, the in-game XMB is [Please register to see this link. ] but not in a few months. That's the only bad news, since the rest of rumor tidbits all say good things are coming to Sony's console.
The insider claimed that a major Xbox 360 title will go cross-platform in its next iteration, while Ubisoft also has big offerings for the PS3 waiting to be announced come [Please register to see this link. ]. Alive, Assassin's Creed 2, and the [Please register to see this link. ] are expected to be unveiled at the event.
Even with upcoming games, however, Sony's biggest guns this year are said to be more on PS3 firmware and PlayStation Network features. PSM3's rumormonger brought up " trophies or achievements to rival the Xbox Live system, something Sony has been talking about since 2006.
yeah i have been wanting achievements for a while now... what do you suppose the big title thats crossing over is? i am kinda hoping for either gears of war or lost odessey... i spelled that wrong
thats a sucky franchise... when i get hyped over a 360 title coming to the ps3 i want it to be worth it... mass effect was too slow. couldn't hold my attention...
