I tried doing the TIFF EXPLOIT by using red kawa file server to download it from my computer to my hard drive, during the download it froze up and then i tunred off the system and when ever i try to start up my ps3, it starts for 10 seconds and freezes on the place where u can XMB or the place where u see the photo video music game icons and stuff PLZ HELPPPPPP
MY MOM WILL KILL ME SHE SPENT 600$ FOR IT

wow dude, wtf were you trying to do? anyways, shut it down and disconnect your ethernet cord and power cord, wait 15 seconds, then boot it up again with your controller ready to go and connected with usb cable (so it recognizes it immediately upon boot). You got to get into the XMB menu quickly into Settings, then System Settings, the Restore Default Settings. Then try Restore PS3 System in same menu. Then do a System Update (or try this first).

im trying to that haxen but it keeps freezing
the furthest i got was to system settings

now i got back into system heres 2 things i figured out
1) the TIFF image is saved in my photos, and whenever i try to delete it freezes
2) i cant update cuz my firmware is 2.20 and i cant format utility or restore ps3 system or it will freeze up

Install Other OS, then format, then hold down power button for 5 seconds to boot into that, and then boot back into Game OS

my main objective is to delete the tiff file from my photos but it freezes when ever i try

have you tried to take out the hdd and format it?

yeah i have tried to take the hdd out, wont come out. trust me.
im going to go to sony retail store. i guess

You will proberly have to pay for it and it, and i dought it will come under warrenty as you have tampered with the console.
