Default Real Player on YDL
I ve just installed linux on my ps3. I want to know how to install realplayer on it because I have alot of real media video which I want to play on my TV. I ve downloaded the player from http://www.real.com/linux/ but it doesn't seem to work when I clicked on it on linux.

Can somebody tell me what I should do? Thanks in advance!

got the same problem. I would run the executable file and nothing happens. I think we are missing some dependencies.

Can anyone here help?

Just foloow the Mplayer tutorial or the VLC player tutorial. I dont believe that anyone has actually installed realplayer on linux yet, but i could be worng.....

I've installed both Mplayer and VLC player but neither of them support .rmvb files. If anyone knows anything about Linux here's the website for Helix and Real Player help: [Please register to see this link. ]

Hopefully someone has better luck than me trying to install this.

I managed to get real player installed, but it wont open for some reason I really wana be able to play rm files, all my southpark - simpsons are rm lol
