Sweet ride: SCEA unveils the Ferrari F2007 for Gran Turismo 5 Prologue

[Please register to see this link. ] producer Taku Imasaki over at the PlayStation Blogs has recently unveiled another car that's expected to be made available for [Please register to see this link. ]'s racer for the PlayStation 3: the F2007.

In case you're too keen on your motoring lore, the F2007 was the car fielded by the [Please register to see this link. ] team during the 2007 [Please register to see this link. ] racing season. The  company would go on to win in the season's drivers' and constructors' championships, thanks to this car.

Getting back on topic, Imasaki explained that the car making it to GT5 Prologue carries the official red paint job sanctioned by the Ferrari team. The F2007 is further expected to be made available in all Gran Turismo Ferrari dealerships for a sum of 2 million game credits. So, what sort of ride can you expect from such a steep price? To quote Imasaki:

Driving it is an adrenaline-pumping, hair-standing, goose-bumping experience I hope everyone gets to experience this God Mode within Gran Turismo . Over the last couple weeks we ve been driving this car in our offices every single day, with the volume cranked up there is nothing more soothing than the high-rev scream of the Scuderia speeding down the Fuji straight
