Gentoo/KDE Multi Question

I am still kinda new to linux and the gentoo install gave me hell. But now I have kde running on my PS3. However im stuck with a few problems, that im sure have been answered somewhere, if this is the case please just point me in the right directions, THANK YOU!

1st up, whn I first log into my desktop I get two msg's one from I guess the sound
system and another from Amarok, saying that Xine was unable to start audio drivers.

2nd. Whn I start Xine it plays but is distorded to the point of being painfull.

3rd. I have no system sounds. I have been into the Control Center/Sound & Multimedia, and had a looked I think that i turned them on but they do not play even after a reboot, I have even tested sound and it to is distorted.

4th. I have my Memstick and Sd card mounted, and get to them thru systems. But if I take one out and put it back in, the system does not pick it up, I have to reboot to get it to load up. I have tried the mount button but it does nothing.

5th. How do I remove something (programs etc.) from my system?

6th. Whn I try to install a game called knights i get this Msg

i tried "emerge arts" but that doesnt seem to be the answer. Now i think i have to remove whtevet i installed.


7th. Is there a way to make Mplayer work without the video screen in the way or atleast make them one screen?

8th. I cannot get things like screensavers to work i just keep getting the black screen with the "X" on it.
And last i have been to KDE-look and KDA-apps.org and tried to download things like screensavers, splash screens, and a few apps, that i cannot get to work, im not sure if this is due to the fact that those particular ones dont work with PS3 or im doing something wrong. Some are gzipped or something like that . now i know how to unzip in MS, but how do i do that here is there something i need to install.

Any help would be much APPRECIATED, And THANKS AGAIN.

For those of you starting just starting out in Warhammer Online. Here is a quick piece of advice for you, especially if you do alot of PvP/RvR, to level up faster. Get the renown tactic called Combat Awareness ASAP.This little renown tactic lets you earn an extra 5% experience for PvP kills.
