Please allow me to introduce myself. My real name is Dimitri and no, I ain't Russian. I was born in 1989 in Italy, but shortly after that I moved to The Netherlands (GMT +1).
I must have been around ten years old when I got my first PC; a high-end PI 200Mhz. Since then my 'computer knowledge' (and addiction) only grew... Some years later I bought a used PIII 450MHz. It was even capable to play a DivX encoded movie without lagging!
My current PC is a P4 3,0GHz Prescott.
I was planning to buy a new (dual-core) PC, but somehow I closed that chapter by buying a 40GB PS3 with Call Of Duty 4 somewhere between Christmas and the end of last year. I never owned a PS2 so I was devastated when I read they didn't sold the original 60GB edition any more.
Anyways.. Some days after I bought a PS3 I found a tutorial on how to install Yellow Dog Linux v5.0.1 and I gave it a go. I didn't had any Unix-based experience so I kept on removing all desktop environments by uninstalling some needed software.
I came across PS3Hax.com when I was searching for a PS3-YDL forum. I posted my problem and started helping some other people out..
Then I received a complimenting PM from H.axen and some days later he asked if I would like to be a co-moderator or co-admin. Well, that's “a offer you can't refuse”..
On long term I hope I can keep on helping many people (mainly with their PS3 related problems). Besides that H.axen and me are brainstorming on making PS3Hax even more useful, just for you!
But we also need your help! If you like PS3Hax, please take some time on helping other people with their problems (just like it should)... Thank you!
