A few days ago i found this program(software) named PS2 systemdata on PlayStation Store ! It says that with this software instald on your ps3 hard drive ,you can use the software to play PS2 format software that were made for ps2 HDD .Can this be used to work with PS2 HDD Loader ?

This program is for using games like Final Fantasy XI. The game requires an install to the disk, so it just allows the ps2 game to install to the ps3 hard drive.

Does it work for the 40GB?

I am sure you can install it, but it is pointless since the 40 gig ps3 cannot play ps2 games.

It should be in the playstation store somewhere, not sure how to find it in the new one.
