Can OSX work on PS3

I don't think so....I LOVE OSX though, and that would be awesome.

Maybe if it's possible to emulate OSX in Linux....try searching for it

i vary highly dought it since pretty much all the system files are in linux and windows interface mode and yes linux and windows are the same interface just redone and one is free and linux was secured way more

G5 and PS3's PPC64 cores are very similar based on what I've heard. Also, the creator (Ken Kutagari) himself stated that there isn't any reason as to why Mac OS-X wouldn't work on the PS3. It's just up to the hackers to figure this one out.

I'll give it couple of months max. I bet someone somewhere is hard at work with this....

I'm pretty shure i can but I aint doin it until I see soum1 else do it first then I will try to install it. It would b even more pwnage if I could get leopard to run when it comes out. 64 bits oooooh so much potential

Oh man, if it was possible to run OSX on the PS3, that would have to be one of the coolest things ever. It's like cross breading two amazing things.

if you have a copy of vmware and osx the answer is yes if you know how to correctly set up the vmware environ.; however osx is only legal to install on Mac h/w so....
see the osx86 project for ideas on how to configure vmware on an x86mac... it might get you somewhere
