2.6.26 linux kernel on PS3 and kernel stock config - PS3Hax

Does the new 2.6.26 linux kernel work on Playstation 3?

If you have Ubuntu for PS3 please do this:

Click on Places at the toolbar.
Click Filesystem
Click on the folder named boot
Click on config-your.kernel.version.here
Open it up with gedit / text editor
go to pastebin.ca
copy all contents in config file into the box at pastebin.ca

I am going to try and get 2.6.26 kernel on PS3 and see if I can get the kernel running at at least 1000MHz.

Here is an example on what I am talking about (on my computer)

Yea you can run the new kernel on the ps3.
