Ok here is the last resort.
1) Go to Settings-->System settings-->Format Utility.
2)You choose to format the HDD but this time instead of doing a Quick Format do a Full Format. It will take you about 3 hours. Now I know for a fact that this will make it work.
If it doesn't I will bend my head in shame and go into a feetle position.
