all you need is a usb cable ok lets start
Step 1...connect your psp to your ps3 using usb cable

Step2...Go to settings on your ps3 then go toremote play settings then click the register device after its finished remove usb cable and go to your psp

Step 3...Go to remote play then go to connect via pravate network

after it ok your controlling your ps3 allready ok now
