wow dude, wtf were you trying to do? anyways, shut it down and disconnect your ethernet cord and power cord, wait 15 seconds, then boot it up again with your controller ready to go and connected with usb cable (so it recognizes it immediately upon boot). You got to get into the XMB menu quickly into Settings, then System Settings, the Restore Default Settings. Then try Restore PS3 System in same menu. Then do a System Update (or try this first).
