Sadly, right now I agree with ykpaiha: this is a disappointing release.

However there are pro's and con's to this release and I think there are some real positives that can be worked off of.

Enlightenment interface is slower ... but Gnome is faster, bootup is faster and login to desktop interval is faster.

If you pop the install DVD at any time before a reboot you can reinstall YDL without having to wipe the drive from the PS3 Hypervisor. So you can reinstall to your heart's content. (I'm big on reinstalling if I don't think I got a good loadup.)

However, networking appears to be a mess. Some applications recognize that the network is (or is not) connected and others don't. I can surf the web on Firefox, but software updater complains there is no network connection and network manager isn't running (it is).

Sometimes I can't connect to the network after a restart but if I turn "Enable Wireless" off in Gnome, I get connected.

I'm on my third reinstall and I'm going to try it different on my fourth. There usually is a smooth way to install these things if you can fall upon the path that the developers took.

On my next install I'm going to go wired, not wireless.
