Trying to install Firefox 3.0... and failing.
Hi, I'm pretty new to linux (this is my second attempt after a long break from trying to get my head around it). I understand repos and even alittle bit of compiling. But I can't seem to figure out Firefox 3.0. This is a pretty fresh installation of YDL 6.0, so I've got firefox 2 on here at the moment.
I downloaded the Linux version from the official site (since I couldn't seem to find it on any repo). But it didn't seem to have any sort of installer and the main executable didn't do anything. Google didn't find me anything and then I remembered this site being pretty helpful. Anyone have any ideas?
PS Sorry about starting a new thread. I was thinking about putting this in the "YDL 6.0" thread but figured it's probably the same on YDL 5 aswell.
