The file has been updated, so it now actually a 3.6 MB file. The PS3 accepts this file and installs it. After rebooting, there is a GUI now with a couple of options, like ydl720p, game-os and so on. The only option that worked for me was the game-os, i.e. I could not start up Linux with this boot-loader

Just re-install terrasoft's bootloader and it works like it used to.
