McSiD, you are not alone. No one can install Flash for YDL 5.0. :P
Flash is not supported for the PPC64 cell processor (PS3) architecture. Adobe, the makers of Flash, have not released a version that supports this type of computer. It's not Firefox's fault.
The guys at Terrasoft (makers of YDL) have solicited everyone's help to ask Adobe to release a version for PS3. See this thread
