I found the same problem with running VLC in Enlightenment but I have been able to run VLC in full screen using Gnome. I'm not sure why there was a difference. Has anyone else seen this?

On another note, I do like the option in the 1.6 upgrade when switching the Default OS to allow you to restart the PS3.
